Chris Litchfield graduated from Burlington High School in 2012. He played offensive midfielder on varsity for 3 years and was the team’s leading scorer junior and senior year. Got first team all-state junior and senior year, was awarded the Dick Verzone award junior year, and was named captain senior year. Went on to play D3 at Nichols College where he started as a freshman and led the team in goals as an offensive midfielder. After transferring to Umass Lowell to play D1 lacrosse, he helped build a program from the ground up. Here he played LSM and got the first ever goal on the books for UML in a preseason game against Sacred Heart. He was a defensive player and scored on average 5 goals a year and got on average 4 assists per year. After helping build the program at Lowell, he decided to come back to the team he used to play for, to try and help kids serious about lacrosse excel and play at the next level.
U13 - Ryan Doherty
Ryan Doherty graduated from Burlington High School in 2014. He was a long stick midfielder and Defensemen during his time at Burlington High School. Ryan was a varsity letter winner all four years at Burlington High School. He was named captain his senior year. He also was awarded the teams players award for the teams most valuable player his senior year. Ryan was also the 2014 Burlington Youth Lacrosse Association scholarship recipient. After Burlington, he went on to play DIII lacrosse at Salem State University where he played immediately as a freshman. He earned two varsity letters his freshmen and sophomore year, along with twice receiving the NCAA Scholar Athlete Award. After competing for two years at Salem State, he decided put his playing days behind him to take a coaching opportunity with his former coach and team at Burlington High. Ryan has been an assistant coach on the Burlington High School varsity staff since 2016.
